Pet Benefits

In addition to taking care of ourselves, spouses, and children, our 4-legged friends in our household are also part of the family! Thanks to the pet insurance and pet benefit industry, our pets also have the opportunity to have health care and wellness perks like we do!

If you are a decision-maker at a company, adding pet benefits to your onboarding packages for employees can be a great employee attraction tool and is also great for employee retention. If employees know their employer cares about their furry friends, that will mean a lot to their employment lifespan. This is an easy line item to add on at your company’s annual renewal to make your plan offerings more robust!

Pet plans typically do not follow regular health insurance rules, so there are no deductibles, claims, or waiting for reimbursements. Below is a list of what many pet benefit options include:

  • Pet telehealth via phone, chat, or email 24/7
  • Get assistance locating the nearest emergency clinic
  • Savings on pet medications
  • Learn socialization, training tips, attend classes
  • Lost pet recovery services
  • Discounts at pet retailers
  • Discounts for dog sitting
  • Discounts on dog box mail subscriptions

We love partnering with our friends at Freshbenies if employers already have a freshbenies policy in place. They have the option to add The Pet Pack for employees to have access to some of these pet perks mentioned above.

We also partner with Pet Benefit Solutions for our clients who are looking for a standalone pet benefit offering that is more robust and offers more specific coverage for pet care.
